Description
Vegetable Root Crop Topper RCT-M
The root crop topper RCT-M tops or cuts in half root crops with minimal force. Examples of these products are celeriac, pumpkin, white cabbage, red cabbage, carrot, and turnip. The RCT-M is perfectly suited for even the hardest products.
Easily cut vegetables in halve
The product is placed in the V-shape of the table so the product will stay in its place. Subsequently the product will be topped or halved by bringing the knife down. Because of the leverage of the knife this will require relatively little force. Even the hardest products are therefore perfectly suited to be cut with the RCT-M.

FAQ
The RCT-M serves as a pre-cutting tool for large vegetables before they are further processed into their final size. For instance, whole white cabbages, with a width exceeding the capacity of the belt (150 mm) on machines like the BCM-1650, require pre-cutting. The RCT-M facilitates this process, offering a more efficient alternative to manual cutting. Similarly, large vegetables such as white cabbages need pre-cutting before they can be processed in the 3DD dicing machine. One exception to this is the BCM-3000 belt cutting machine, which features a wider belt (275 mm) capable of accommodating most whole white cabbages without pre-cutting.
